COLDWATER, MICHIGAN – In 2019, Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) expanded into the Coldwater community. On Thursday, July 20, 2023, the credit union celebrated a milestone in their journey of growth and expansion in the area during a groundbreaking ceremony for their new location in Coldwater.

“This groundbreaking signifies more than just the construction of a physical building, it symbolizes the extraordinary achievement of our team’s growth and expansion in the area combined with interest from the community at large,” said MCCU CEO, Corrie Rozell, during the ceremony. "Today marks a historic event for MCCU as we embark on a journey that will shape the future of our organization and enhance the financial well-being for Coldwater, and surrounding communities.”

The new 3,650 square-foot branch, located at 688 E. Chicago Road, will provide full services including a drive-thru and ATM.

Since its founding in 1951, MCCU has continuously strived to partner with members for financial success through service, solutions, and education. “The decision to build a permanent location is a testament to the credit union's members, whose trust and loyalty have propelled us forward and enabled us to enhance services and deepen our roots within the local community,” said Rozell.

As construction is underway, MCCU will continue to serve members at their current location, 352 South Willowbrook Road. The new branch is anticipated to be completed by Summer 2024.
