Fraud Awareness & Prevention Education Opportunities

10/30/2023

By: MCCU

MARSHALL, MICHIGAN – Marshall Community Credit Union (MCCU) is hosting two fraud awareness educational events in November – one in-person and one virtual, as part of International Fraud Awareness Week, November 12 - 18, 2023.

Defend, Detect, and Deter – Safeguarding Your Assets in 60 Minutes will provide essential knowledge on how to identify fraud, create awareness of the many ways fraud can occur, provide tools to combat becoming a victim of fraud, and how to report fraud.

“In an increasingly digital age, fraud has become more sophisticated and prevalent than ever,” says Corrie Rozell, CEO, MCCU. “The information provided at the in-person and virtual sessions will identify techniques used by fraudsters and empower attendees with the tools they need to protect themselves and their assets.”
